Iphone 7 release date

According to some new rumors, the iPhone 7 will be released in September 2016, exactly after the iPhone 6S will complete one year cycle in the market. In concordance with Geek, Apple has already started placing orders for the parts that will be needed to build the iPhone 7 device. The mass production of the A10 chip (that the iPhone 7 will come with) will start sometime in March 2016.

According to Geek, the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (also known as TSMC) has secured an exclusive supply contract for the A10 chip, which will be a 16nm part.
Apple will most likely NOT reveal details about the upcoming iPhone 7, but according to more reports, the home button will no longer be found on the upcoming iPhone 7. With other words, this means that Apple will be able to increase the display size without changing the overall size of the upcoming device. The 3D Touch technology that was seen in the iPhone 6S can also indicate that Apple can actually give up on the Home button anytime they want.

According to DigiTimes, Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst from KGI Securities, hinted that the upcoming iPhone 7 will be ultra-slim. It seems that Apple is planning to make the upcoming iPhone 7 between 6 and 6.5mm thick, which means that it will be as thin as the iPod Touch and the iPad Air 2.
Business Insider, a source close to Apple’s supply chain, claimed that the company is ordering six-element lenses for a future iPhone device (most likely iPhone 7). With other words, the camera of the upcoming iPhone 7 will be better than the 12MP camera that iPhone 6S came with, since it has only five-element lenses.
